CCNP-1 Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
The CCNP certification (Cisco Certified Network Professional) indicates advanced or journeyman knowledge of networks. mcdba Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA)
The Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) on Microsoft SQL Server 2000 credential is the premier certification for professionals who implement and administer Microsoft SQL ServerTM databases.

CNE Certified Novell Engineer (CNE)
Your CNE training gives you a wide variety of network support skills that allow you to keep your company's network running efficiently - with less downtime. As a CNE, you solve advanced company-wide support problems and high-level network problems. You perform planning, installation, configuration, troubleshooting and upgrade services for networks.





Apple Certified Technical Coordinator
Apple Certified Technical Coordinator (ACTC) certification verifies a foundation in Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server features and use, including the ability to configure key services and perform basic troubleshooting of the essential Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server capabilities. Beginning fall 2002, the required exam will be based on Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server v10.2.

In short, CNAs handle the day-to-day administration of an installed Novell networking product: NetWare 6, NetWare5, NetWare 4.11 (InternetWare)or GroupWise.

Those holding Network+ certification demonstrate critical knowledge of media and topologies, protocols and standards, network implementation and network support. This certification is geared toward those with nine months field experience in network administration and support.

Server+ certification is a new standard of competency for mid- to upper-level technicians responsible for server hardware functionality. The Server+ certification credential validates advanced-level technical competency of server issues and technology, including installation, configuration, upgrading, maintenance, troubleshooting and disaster recovery. This certification is geared toward mid- to upper-level technicians.

The CompTIA i-Net+ certification is the worldwide standard of foundational-level competency in knowledge of Internet, Intranet and Extranet technologies. The i-Net+ certification is recognized as a baseline technical knowledge specifically designed to certify entry-level Internet and e-commerce technical professionals. Those holding i-Net+ certification demonstrate knowledge and competency in Internet basics and clients, development, networking, Internet security and business concepts.

CCAs are highly skilled industry professionals that have demonstrated a thorough knowledge of Citrix MetaFrame XP 1.0 for Windows, Citrix MetaFrame 1.8 for Windows, Citrix MetaFrame 1.1 for UNIX Operating Systems, or Citrix WinFrame 1.8.





rcdd Registered Communications Distribution Designer
An RCDD is a Registered Communications Distribution Designer who has attained the status of exceptional excellence in the field. The RCDD designation is recognized industry-wide as indicating superior design expertise.

Those holding the professional RCDD designation include architects, electrical engineers, telecommunications consultants, interior designers, telco personnel (from both the regulated and the de-regulated sectors), data network designers, and many other industry specialists.
