 Solutions Engineer 

Duties include:

  • Work with Sales and Pre-Sales teams to facilitate engineering of special projects
  • Develop Scope of Work and project documentation
  • Research parts/solutions and assist in bid packet development
  • Develop a working knowledge of professional services technologies and service delivery
  • Maintain and update client documentation to support client goals and sales initiatives
  • Assist with quote management, quote packet assembly and presentation
  • Manage deal registration for sales initiatives

 Expected Background/Qualifications

  • Well-rounded understanding of IT related systems including but not limited to: workstations, servers, storage area networks, switching, wireless, firewalls, as well as internet and WAN connectivity

 Human Resources & Compliance Associate 

Duties include:

  • Assist with tasks related to Benefits, Payroll and Human Resources services.
  • Work with Managers to develop a schedule for tracking and scheduling training for ongoing certifications and programs
  • Manage all efforts related to talent acquisition and resource sourcing opportunities for all departments, and coordinating temporary project staff.
  • Maintain corporate guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
  • Provide initial point of HR contact for staff to bring forth HR issues in need of remediation or request for assistance and information
  • Coordination of ongoing training and documentation required to maintain staff compliancy with all policies & procedures
  • Maintain reporting necessary to ensure compliancy and assist with audit preparation related to ACCA, Security & HIPAA as well as compliancy statistics for customer inquiries
  • Assist with monitoring and implementing applicable tasks to ensure the company meets employment federal and state requirements
  • Perform a comprehensive onboarding practice for new staff that includes orientation, drug testing and assist with appropriate training as determined by role

Expected Background/Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of college
  • Relevant Human Resources clerking experience, staffing and recruiting strategies
  • Relevant experience with auditing processes, HIPAA and technology based audit experience a plus

Duties include:

  • Physical installation of Cat 5, 5E, 6 and Fiber Optic Cabling materials, drops and outlets in new and existing construction per structured cable industry best practices.  
  • Installation termination, organizing, forming, dressing and labeling cables to industry standards.   
  • Terminate, assemble and install 8-pin modular connectors and coaxial connectors, light crimp connectors and optical fiber ST and/or SC ceramic connectors.   

Expected Background / Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of structured cabling experience 
  • Working knowledge of hubs, switches, routers, gateways and related infrastructure technologies

Duties include Level 1 and Level 2 remote support for customer network and internally assigned Network/System monitoring and management system tickets, as well as assisting with administration, monitoring and support of Secant’s full range of hosted services.

  • Engineer level certification preferred (i.e. MCSE, CCNP)

Duties include supporting and maintaining end user computing technology. Responsible for supporting end user devices (laptops, desktops, tablets, smart phones) and associated OS and software.  Typical tasks include hardware/software configuration, delivery, installation, and documentation. Additionally may assist with support of systems servers, data storage, and related technology.

Expected Background / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • Vendor Certification (i.e. MCITP) preferred  within 1-3  years of related experience
  • Some field experience including workstation systems implementation and support
  • Understanding of server, storage, and end user computing technologies
  • Knowledge of IP and wide area networking
  • Understanding of hypervisor and virtualization technology

  • Experience implementing a variety of network related solutions for SMB and mid-enterprise market including VoIP, route/switch, wireless, and security.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience designing and implementing variety of networking solutions  
  • Experience discussing and presenting technical information at sales and presales related meetings with customers
